Request deletion of your Fuel Ping data

Fuel Ping (the app listed on Google Play) does not let users create an account or log in. You can still ask Brilles, the developer, to delete any data we hold that is associated with you.

Steps to request deletion

Email brilles.co@gmail.com with the subject line Delete my Fuel Ping data.
Include any details that help us find your record: nickname or username, waitlist email, social handles you saved, and whether you used iPhone, Android, or the website.
We will confirm when the request is complete. You can also delete data stored only on your device by uninstalling Fuel Ping or clearing the app / browser storage.

What we delete

Nickname or username and optional social handles
Waitlist email address
Anonymous ID we stored for you
Price-board photos you uploaded
Search records tied to you

What we keep

Community price figures on a station (price, station, and time), with your name removed, so other drivers still see a valid price
Hosting or mapping logs only as those providers require for security and operations

How long we take

We process deletion requests within 30 days. We keep the request email for up to 90 days as a record that we handled it, then delete that email too.

What Fuel Ping does

Open the app, allow location (or pick a state), and you will see stations around you with the latest community-reported price per litre. When you pass a station, you can tap to report the board price so the next person does not guess.

Common questions

The app asked for my location. Why?

Location is used to list stations near you and to suggest a price update when you arrive. You can refuse and still browse by choosing a Nigerian state.

How do I report a price?

When you are at or near a station, enter the price per litre from the board. Honest, recent reports keep Fuel Ping useful for everyone.

A station or price looks wrong.

Submit a fresh update from the station page, or email us with the station name, location, and what you saw. Community reports replace older figures.

What is the delivery waitlist?

We are preparing door-to-door fuel delivery. Joining the waitlist only stores your email so we can tell you when it is available in your area.
